This Toolkit was developed to guide FIA members through all the relevant actions to structure a school assessment project with Star Rating for Schools (SR4S), including helpful templates and guidelines. The Toolkit is structured in 10 steps, covering the four major stages of a school assessment project with SR4S, as detailed below. It is recommended that the steps are followed in a chronological sequence, but depending on the stage of your project you may want to access more details on specific steps.

The Toolkit also presents details on how to incorporate the CAA’s School Zone Safety behavioural tool to your school zone project. The combined use of the Star Rating for Schools with the CAA’s School Zone Safety behavioural tool is not mandatory, but addressing multiple road safety pillars may strengthen the outcomes of your project.
